Something to think about…

jaaaaade:

Giving away free things in impoverished companies does more damage to the contry’s infrastructure than it does good. Where will Toms be when these children grow out of these shoes?

Using images of impoverished children to sell your product is unethical on so many levels. Were these children and their families made aware of how these images were going to be used and distributed? Where are the photos of the workers in China that make Toms shoes?  Where are the photos of how their lives are being impacted by this company? What about the true cost of the resources used to make toms shoes?  Where was it sourced from?  Let’s look at the lives of those people too.

“The problem isn’t that people don’t have shoes, the problem is that people do not have the means to buy shoes.”
