BENEFIT SHOW FLIERING!
Have the following areas volunteered to be covered: North Park Slope, South Park Slope, Prospect Heights, Carroll Gardens, Fort Greene
Need: Williamsburg, Greenpoint, Bushwick, Cobble Hill, Bed-Stuy, Crown Heights…anywhere not mentioned + MANHATTAN!

Tentative day to paint the town is this Saturday, August 15th. Get on your bike or take a stroll and leave ‘em at your favorite coffee shop, record store, whathaveyou…do it!
BENEFIT
Working on donations for raffle at the Benefit Show. Potential places to approach for give-a-ways:
- tickets: Union Hall, Bell House
- coffee shops: Gorilla, Cafe Grumpy, Southside
- gift certificates: Gutter, Brooklyn Bowl, Beacon’s Closet, BK Botanical Garden, BK Museum, various restaraunts…
BUDGET
- Aaron & Meg are going to go over the teacher supplies requests and parse down what is absolutely necessary for each class as we are on a super-tight budget (or, until the benefit show, no budget at all!).
- Props to the kids at the Boston Skillshare for helping us get a general idea of what to expect cost-wise!
FOOD
Donations! donations! donations! We need food donations for breakfast (bagels, coffee, etc), lunch, and potentially beer for the closing party…
TEACHERS
We are hoping to have a big thank you dinner/meet-up for all our teachers and volunteers sometime shortly before the day of the Skillshare. Aaron has offered her sweet apartment to host, so stay tuned.
