Summary of Class: This tasty class has been designed to provide a clear understanding of the basic principles of raw foodism by introducing participants to quick, easy and super delicious organic raw cuisine. This class will provide participants with the building blocks to healthy eating by demonstrating raw kitchen essentials, techniques and tips, recipes, nutrition facts and so much more.
Your experience (in area of skill you are sharing): I currently work as a Medical Librarian at the NYU School of Medicine and base a majority of my personal research on nutrition and specialized diets as alternative therapies. After years of struggling with various physical ailments, I was originally drawn towards the raw food diet as an alternative to main-stream medical therapies that were simply not working. In less than two months of adhering to a mainly plant-based, uncooked, chemical-free diet without the aide of prescription medication, virtually all physical distress had vanished.
