“Introduction to spinning: Learn to create your own yarn, which you can use in knitting, weaving, or crochet”

Teacher: Jenny Jo Reinhart
Description: This class will cover the basics of spinning and provide an overview of the resources available to handspinners. Students will leave the class with their own spindle made from recycled CDs, yarn that they have made, and extra wool for practice.
Please Bring:
• 2 unwanted CDs (any condition is fine, as long as they are not cracked)
• $4 fee for materials

Description: During the class we’ll cover some basic ideas, terminology and techniques to help everyone become a better sewer or just freshen up their foundations.

Beer Brewing 101
Description: A short (2-hour) introduction to the basics of homebrewing. The class will include a demonstration of getting a batch ready for fermentation. Along the way, we will explain the equipment, ingredients, and processes involved in brewing your own beer at home.
