SISTER SKILLSHARE ALERT: Saturday, June 5th for the (first annual) Skillshare in the Foothills! Larks & Japes shares the skills of artists and arborists, makers and cocktail shakers with others in the CT, MA, NY corner with a DIY ethic. Rooted in participatory learning, our intention is that attendees have a fun, new knowledge filled day in a non-commercial environment. Anyone interested in lost arts, curious about cuisine, and potentially useful pursuits is welcome. An old fashioned idea with modern sensibilities, the workshop offers practical application in art, food, design & nature. Held in the NorthEast Millerton Library annex, a unique space for art and community, lunch and beverages will be provided Skillshare + one day workshop + four blocks of 60 minute classes = $10 suggested donation (10% of donations will benefit the NE Millerton Library) Call for instruction proposals inspired by all creative disciplines begins immediately.
