PICKLING & HOME CANNING
When: Tuesday, August 16th from 7-9pm
Where: LaunchPad in Crown Heights (721 Franklin Ave Brooklyn, NY 11238)
Description: Capture the summer’s bounty of vegetables and fruit with pickles! Both waterbath canning (shelf stable) and quick refrigerator techniques will be covered, including many of the basic skills for pickles. Pickle up some classic cucumbers and Schezuan green beans and go home with the knowledge to pickle almost anything that crosses your path.
