Orange Sherbet!
I really liked last week’s lemon sherbet experiment, and I also like making super simple things (essentially the opposite of everything Soma makes).
So this week we’re going for another citrusy thing, based off an Alton Brown recipe, though I reduced the sugar a bit and didn’t really measure anything. This one doesn’t have any heavy cream, so I’m curious as to what the final texture/mouth feel will be.
It goes like so: 1.5 cups whole milk, 2 cups orange juice, 7 ounces sugar, juice of a lemon, bunch of lemon zest, vanilla, salt.
